Who am I?
I love to do more than just make games: I also enjoy art, history and music a lot. I play the piano and guitar (both rather poorly...) and dabble in making my own music from time to time. I like watching movies too, and adore when they are a historical biopic or a classic psychological horror movie. You can usually find me at a metal/pop gig, or taking a walk out in nature with the volume in my headphones just as loud. I also make horror/surreal art and post it on my Instagram!
As a kid I started making 'Escape Room' type games in Adobe Flash. The games weren't any good (in fact, they only had one puzzle) but I got hooked on game development not too long after. I always veered more towards darker themes, and later on made a full demo of a horror game that I sent to my friends to play. I also worked on a boardgame and several little projects that I never finished (but learned a lot from!). Later on I made and finished some work, a few that can be found on my itch.io.
Now, I really love to focus on cohesion and flow of a game. I keep a good eye on the big picture, fine tuning how systems interact with eachother. My strength lies in creative problem solving: How could I fix the pacing in a certain level, or why do players dislike a particular segment? In teams I like to take on several roles, and I'm always willing to find a way to fix something and help out.
